Screenshot 2025-05-13 at 16.44.00

This result will create a competence framework focused on skills, knowledge, and attitudes to be held by workers to be able to face the challenges of the care sector, which will clarify and formalize an updated version of the crucial competences to be possessed by care workers. This document will focus on two main competences:

1. NEW DIGITAL SKILLS: needed to support the patient in his or her relationships with family and society, to manage patient care at a distance by maintaining contact with medical professionals and to manage innovations in medicine and care.

2. RELATIONAL & EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS: are personal competences that we use in the way we interact with other people skills that help us manage our behaviour, thoughts, and emotions consciously and productively.
