C@RE COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK - NEW AND INNOVATIVE GUIDELINES FOR SOCIAL AND CARE WORKERS

This result will create a competence framework focused on skills, knowledge, and attitudes to be held by workers to be able to face the challenges of the care sector, which will clarify and formalize an updated version of the crucial competences to be possessed by care workers. This document will focus on two main competences:

1. NEW DIGITAL SKILLS: needed to support the patient in his or her relationships with family and society, to manage patient care at a distance by maintaining contact with medical professionals and to manage innovations in medicine and care.

2. RELATIONAL & EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS, are personal competences that we use in the way we interact with other people skills that help us manage our behaviour, thoughts, and emotions consciously and productively.

WP3
C@RE TRAINING COURSE

This WP will create scenario-based e-learning courses that allow learners to gather skills and professional experience in a shorter time rather than a real experience by using learning scenarios that will describe a real situation (using video animation). The modules will be the relevant competences for care and social workers i.e. new digital and relational & emotional management skills.

C@RE SOCIAL LEARNING MOTIVATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

This work package will create an e-learning environment, i.e. an online environment that will host the educational resources developed within the C@RE project: the Competence Framework, the Training Course and the contents of the augmented care demonstrator tool. The courses on the e-learning environment will be evaluated by an effective and transparent system of accreditation of learning outcomes (open badges system). The augmented care demonstrator tool will stimulate a real and experiential scenario for the training students.
